Uncovering The Truth of Quiet Quitting in The “Do Not Dream of Labour” Gen

    January 20, 2023 /

Quiet quitting is a phenomenon where employees disengage from their work and stop participating in company activities before leaving without giving any formal notice. In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing job market, this type of behavior is becoming more common. The phenomenon is often observed among younger workers who may feel more empowered to leave a job that doesn’t meet their expectations. They may not express their dissatisfaction with their job or their intent to leave, which can be difficult for companies to detect and prevent. This can lead to losing valuable employees and the need to find and train replacements. In many cases, employees who engage in quiet quitting have…

Five Things I Discovered in Life After College

    March 29, 2020 /

I’ve been living in Jakarta for roughly six months. There’s no such thing as being grateful for what I’ve got so far. In a world where there’s no clarity but uncertainty, college graduates have to deal with more complex problems from what they used to experience. Some have to work their ass off to survive, but some are just lucky. Some have their life planned, but the rest is just following the stream. What about you? Well, I think I’m just short of a lucky guy who embraced emerging opportunities earlier. I used to be the one who planned everything, but some were to no avail. Whenever I wanted something,…

    When You’re Not Going Places

    January 30, 2020 /

My phone’s ringing several times as I was putting my attention to the data I was working at. Apparently, it was a phone call, not from my family nor relatives I’ve ignored lately, but from a friend of mine that I used to talk to. The day he’s living in seemed gloomier than ever. I reckoned it since there’s nothing he shared but anxiety. Kinds of stuff rattled him a lot. “I ‘ve got something that made me worry.” “What is it?” “Check your WhatsApp, I’ve sent you some.” In less than a minute, I knew what he’s talking about. Unimportant screenshots that posse thousands of meanings. I understood how…

    A Never-ending Job Searching

    January 19, 2020 /

Lately, social media is filled with a variety of facts telling how difficult it is for recent graduates to find a job. Particularly, for those who just recently graduated. It does take time, not only for these inexperienced groups of people to be able to have a decent job (and obviously a monthly salary). I did talk to some of my acquaintances, just to have some other perspective on how hard they struggle to find a job and surely how they see their life in the near future. “I’ve been called for interviews roughly ten times, still, I didn’t get the job,” said someone. There’s even who applied to be…

((((9 things I wish I knew earlier)))) [1] Life's ((((9 things I wish I knew earlier)))) [1] Life's never been easy, stop complaining, it's a journey, not about the destination. [2] The greatest failure is a good start of a journey. [3] Privilege does exist. [4] But, people could go the extra mile. [5] As we graduated from college, we've wasted 2/3 of most. productive age of our life. [6] Friend isn't everything, never rely on them. [7] The best way to learn is by leaving the hometown/going overseas. [8] Being employed isn't as interesting as it might seem, but yeah the money helps. [9] A single act is more powerful than 1000x written promises.

No more wishes but the best for 2020!

[SWIPE] These photos were taken in Singapore last [SWIPE] These photos were taken in Singapore last year when I managed to take her on her first abroad experience. It was just lit since we're students but could afford our own short getaway.

Sebagai anak paling terakhir dari tujuh bersaudara, tinggal kita berdua nih yang belum mapan dan berkeluarga. Fortunately, we could survive without parent's financial support tho. I'm working while she's running her own business too👍

Selama seminggu penuh, dia amazed banget sama gimana bedanya Singapore dengan kota tempat kita tinggal yang berjarak 5-6 jam dari Ibukota di Banjarmasin.

It's totally a whole new experience.

"Nanti persiapan buat main-main saju," katanya. 😂

Indeed, it's gonna be a wonderful moment to witness the leaves fall, to grab some snow, or even to run altogether along the coastlines next year 👍

Semoga segera #adatiketnya buat #SobatJalanJepang kakak-adik ini yaa 😍 @kumparancom @tiketcom #tiketcomxkumparan

It's a relief to have my thesis defense today. Why It's a relief to have my thesis defense today. Why on first day? It's on purpose, by hoping that I could immediately fly to Bangkok for a program. But the reality is not as easy as it might seem. I need to choose either going to Bangkok or having my thesis defense today.
Obviously, I chose the most important one. I thought it's gonna be impossible to get this done after having no progress during my-two-week program in Germany 😂 But today I managed to present my proudness of being a banjarese - the Sustainable Floating Market project with more than 80 pages of thesis report, 32 pages of A2 drawings, and 8 modular 3D model in from of four professors. The result might be not as good as others, but I believe the process would contribute much in improving and developing myself to be a better individual. Thank you for everyone involved in the process 🙏 #Architecture #Project #ITS
